About Cecilia

Cecilia Chan, founder of Bravo Learning, is a well-known English educator with more than 30 years of teaching experience. Passionate and expert in teaching English and public speaking, Miss Chan has taught students from over 30 schools in Hong Kong, including Marymount Primary School, Marymount Secondary School, Diocesans Boys School, Diocesans Girls School, St. Paul’s Co-educational College, St. Paul’s Co-educational College Primary School, St. Paul’s College, St. Paul’s Convent School (Primary Section), St. Paul’s Convent School (Secondary Section), Belilios Public School, St Stephen’s College, Raimondi College Primary Section, St. Clare’s Primary School, St. Joseph’s College, Pun U Association Wah Yan Primary School and other international schools.

Many of Miss Chan’s students have won prizes in English Solo Verse Speaking, Prose Reading, Dramatic Duologue and Public Speaking at the Hong Kong Schools Speech Festivals and other inter-school open speech contests. Driven by her passion in promoting English learning, Miss Chan is committed to and enjoys exploring the interesting English world with young people by giving lessons, hosting seminars and workshops and publishing books. From 2012 to 2014, Miss Chan has launched the Bravo Learning Series “My 1st to 5th Phonic Books”, “A Speedy Guide on Tenses for Lazy Students” and “A Speedy Practice on Tenses for Busy Students” as an effective and fun-filled tool to foster a love of English reading and learning in children and teenagers.
